Denmark Vaccinates Against Ten Diseases. The U.S. Schedule Runs to Seventeen. Both are wealthy countries with excellent child health outcomes. They reached materially different conclusions about what belongs on a routine childhood schedule — which tells you these are policy judgments, weighing local disease burden against cost and risk, not settled facts handed down from nature.
