This was how we streamed music in the 1980s. We bought cassette tapes and played them in our boombox and Walkman and even in the car. They were portable and we took them everywhere. Sometimes they got caught in the cassette player and we had to try and put the tape back into the cassette. Sometimes we left them in the car and they melted in the sun. We had cases full of cassette tapes and we would rewind or fast forward a hundred times to find our favorite song.
