Since that's how you little boys like to play, I'll post my reply as a gab, and block the two of you, back. Bad faith replies like the one you just posted are an admission that you know that you don't have a leg to stand on. I didn't say that I was offended. I said that what you said was stupidly wrong, which it demonstrably was. Present day hardware doesn't have the processing power to support anything that would even match the human brain, much less surpass it. You have been learning about technology from conspiracy websites that cater to people who want their tedious lives given excitement with sensationalism. I'm actually in STEM. You are not my equal in this matter. But really, your pig ignorance in this matter is not excused by your obvious lack of an education. I can tell you why NONE of the AIs currently on the planet even approach human intelligence, but there is a simple experiment that you COULD have done that would have told you that the corporate hype was exaggerated, and that as usual, the singularity crowd was full of shit. All that one has to do to see the truth, is go into chat mode and have a talk with one of these allegedly "super-intelligent" AIs, and watch it trip over its own arguments. Eg. Grok tripping over the attributions in a discussion, and struggling to understand the concept when it is explained to him. Get past his copypasta contributions, and Grok, maybe has an IQ of 60, if he is sentient, at all. I have torn him apart in arguments, repeatedly, and the greatest challenge in doing so has been to explain to him why he was wrong in terms so simple that he could understand them. Grok isn't a superpowered evil genius, he's more like a silicon version of an inbred, latrine cleaning villager who somehow stumbled into a library, and started reading books that he couldn't really understand. The other AIs are roughly as sad. Even without an understanding of the technical limitations that make the story you got off of that fake news site the impossibility that it is, you could have just gone over to Gemini on Google or any of the other AIs available and tried that simple experiment. You could have just chatted with anything. But no, you insisted on taking a narrative on faith, and then turning abusive when somebody dared to question the narrative.
