Alrighty folks the SAGA of my 2000 Grand Caravan has been found and resolved and most of all FIXED. I learned a long time ago to own up so I shall and feel like the dummy I should. An old proverb has always been K.I.S.S. and I should have here too. But my old electronic brain said when a B+ voltage is hi its most likely a module or component. It wasnt, and today I chased wires to a splice point, which those wire were good, HERE COMES THE RUB !!!! what wasnt good was from the splice to the ground connector on the battery. So cleaned the connector and a terminal lug on the side, put a little cleaner and lube on it and finally GROUND was achieved. Put battery in place, connected it, turned key and MAGIC happened, not heard in this context since 2016. Tires, wipers and reassemble dash and she will be roadable again. New saga soon, likely will be the 1997 Pickup and the piecing together of dash frame parts. FILM AT 11 Bye y'all and praying for Helene & Milton's survivors too Halloween Night update, Well several interesting things I learned today as I finished assembling the lower panels, 1) My Grand is the ONLY 2000 that they shod with 16 inch tires, 2) my lower panels also were not similar to any other of the 2000 models. Go figure?? A week plus ago managed to break the parking brake release cable but the one from my scrap Grand was a good replacement, it was kind of a tricky install but for all ya out there IF YOU have to replace one, 2 things, get the grommet "snapped" in its mount 1st, then put the "bullet" on the end in the brake pedal, and lastly when putting the cable back into the release handle use needle nose vice grips to pull it out and hold it so you have room to install it. Anyway new tires next week cause they had to order the 215/75/16 for it and new wipers soon too.
