Hyundai Santa Fe 2020 2.4 GDI engine with 215kmiles. I am on my second catalytic converter. I went through route of mystery marvel oil instead of seafoam for keeping the engine “clean“ and also “lubricated” but I think my use of mystery marvel made the fuel injectors bad and gummed up. Newer cars according to Scotty Kilmer and other chats or discussions shouldn’t use MMO. What’s odd is car doesn’t burn oil now, it used to, but @180k miles did a piston soak and switched to Valvoline R&P and doing good…So It has to be a rich fuel problem. No coolant issues either .. What do you guys think… about the mystery bad converter? Update: mechanic said converter broke apart and clogged up my exhaust causing bad torque converter like symptoms. He gave me a piece of the honey comb and it wasn’t clogged up with carbon if it was i would think burning oil.
