A salute to the brave men who stormed the beaches at Normandy 77 years ago today. That also includes the Airborne troops, the Sailors and Marines, Army and Army Air Corp personnel who made the largest invasion ever possible! We owe them a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid. Next time you see one of those old men with a WWII veteran hat on their head, walk over and introduce yourself and shake their hand and thank them for your freedom. Spend a few minutes talking to them and listen to their stories. We have so few of them left and it’s a shame to let them leave us without knowing what made them so special.
