There are few things more sinister than the cashless society (including "it's just the tip" limits on cash transactions over a certain figure, as has already happened in Australia). Government refuses to let you use cash, while private sector banks refuses you access to online financial services. As @Heartiste said, if we let them get away with that, the game's over.
