When I was young buck I would get weird looks from people for admitting that I'm attracted to (hot) women of varying races, and that color was not a deal breaker for me. Later, however, when I started assessing relationships for actual marriage, the thought of getting with anything other than a White woman was deeply repulsive. On the other hand, I have friends who dated exclusively White women for a long time, then decided to settle down with Asian chicks. I asked them if it bothers them that their kids won't look like them, and got really dirty looks, along with an "of-course-not" speech. I wonder how much cognitive-dissonance-suppression / desperation goes along with your typical race-mixing couple.
