Somebody Poisoned Our Food and Our Water! Very few read the Ingredient Fine Print, and unfortunately, what was sprayed on the crops that produced the food is never included on that list...which also leached into our water. Geri White Aug 07, 2026 Learning to read a feed tag label and understanding what is actually in the feed you are giving your horse is a very eye opening experience. (Sample below). Yes, the Vet, the magazines, your friends, the barn manager, the clinicians all recommend conventional feeds and supplements. Because they have horses that look great, we want our horses to look the same. They get paid to advertise to you. Pictures, comments and videos say a lot. They can be doctored up with computer programs and now AI! …to market something to you. So, here’s my challenge to those who have never done this. Next time you go to buy feed at the store or shop online, read the TAG or the entire list posted online. You may not be able to pronounce or have any knowledge about some ingredients. Look them up. You may need to do a deeper search on each ingredient to actually know what it really is. Trust me, it is time well spent that may actually offer a solution to help your horse. Maybe even yourself! https://geriwhite.substack.com/p/somebody-poisoned-our-food-and-our?publication_id=1400324&post_id=207850129&isFreemail=true&r=1ot3pi&triedRedirect=true When it comes to water- '“Water Is Life”. Have it tested. My husband and I sent out hair samples to test specifically for arsenic, as we live in a large, now more industrial dairy farming community. There are consistently high levels of arsenic in many parts of NY, and everywhere else where agro chemicals are used. There are also many products/ filters and proactive changes we can make that can help remove some of these ingredients from our bodies as well as our horses. Your horse is acutely aware of the energetic “you”. You cannot hide it! He/she depends on you to be observant, present and an advocate for the entirety of their health and well being in the space we share together.
