When someone claims there is a "right" to something, especially something that has not previously been seen or maybe even sought as a "right", it is good to ask them a few clarifying questions, such as, "What makes something a right?" and "Where do right comes from?" True rights do not obligate anyone else without that other person's consent, unless a crime has been committed. Yet more often, we see ignorant people claiming that they have a "right" to something that infringes on the rights of others, most often that other person's freedom of speech, religion, or their right to property or trade.
