Trump's doing the opposite of historical norms with his monument projects. Normally you build big stuff after a significant victory to expand your power. We never had any big victory, he's building stuff to prop up an illusion of success and it's the worst thing we could be investing on right now. There's a lot of way more important stuff that needs that money that's all going to hell because orange man thinks his vanity or his grift is more important. It is a sign of weakness not strength.
