For the last 40 years, new and old fans alike knew the deep voice of Peter Cullen as the voice of the Transformers leader... Optimus Prime. What started as a cartoon hastily put together by Hasbro to help market and sell a newly acquired Japanese toy line of transforming robots... Peter helped shepherd it into something more. That's over 40 years of no scandals, salacious headlines, or negative publicity. Even in his 80's he routinely went to large trade and comic shows to meet fans and sign autographs for those looking to meet the voice of Optimus Prime because he genuinely loved the work and the character. He also voiced Eeyore from Winnie the Poo, and the original "voice" of The Predator for Arnold Swartzenegger's original film.
