@Virtual_Particle @CMLim @MotherOfUSMarine @ZoSokie @Colmbck @AndHeWhisperedtome @paulbrittgarcia @0331Online Never forget our dear Daddomato !! Matt Dunnyveg was lost to us far too early - he was just 60. We all became the poorer for his passing. Those words: I've never seen a company that actually wanted to lose its customer base, have become the norm now. Still he was bang on about the cause with: Leave it to insane liberalism! See the enclosed image. Gab turned out to be a disappointment when they started to censor - something they promised they would never do. Liberalism vs Liberty. We all dislike Liberal policies but we all want Liberty. Indeed, the US has the Statue of Liberty on its island and Ellis Island where millions of immigrants legally entered for over 60 years. There are two roots which language drift has managed to converge the sound of: liber (free) versus libre (book). Indeed, as an Englishman, I was aware long ago that where it found its way into politics, it was always stupid. In England we used to have the Liberal party (who were stupid) then there was the breakaway part from the Labour Party (extremely stupid) called the Social Democrats (1981 also stupid - but slightly less so). The existence of four parties where only three parties had existed before meant that they became squeezed even more and so the Liberals and Social Democrats merged into the Liberal Democrats in 1967 (can you see my next gag coming ?? This became the doubly stupid party which had two leaders, both called David, one very tall and the other very short - both bonkers and largely irrelevant). The reason they all failed was that we had Margaret Thatcher (massively sensible but leading the Conservative Party (who were only occasionally sensible). She managed to last for 11 years before the crooks managed to defenestrate her in order that the Conservatives could become silly, like the others. The Labour Party had a likeable leader (although often silly) and one morning he was found dead. That meant a leadership election (unlike today's America where you would would not even notice if the president was dead - he actually died before he could take office - I digress). Back to the UK, the Labour Party chose Blair as their leader (and thus turned evil). He supported GHW Bush (evil) and then Bill Clinton (evil) and then W (evil) . His Chancellor of the Exchequer was Gordon Brown (you may not have realised this in the US but he Saved the World from his position of being the stupidest PM ever by far). In two years time he was toppled by Cameron (educated at Brasenose, Oxford - so extraordinarily stupid - later turning evil) but he could not run things without the support of the Liberal Democrats (remember them ?? Doubly stupid). They were run by Nick Clegg (so evil that he was was considered as ideal for president at Facebook - global affairs - he has probably had quite a few...). Theresa May (stupid and evil) tried to prevaricate over the Brexit win (which your Cat had written more than anyone) and was tossed out by Boris (who knows ??) I leave the story at this point as the names coming afterwards can all be classified as (irrelevant). The next good Prime Minister of the UK will be Nigel Farage but no one know this yet - except you - because I told you !!) So when the hullabaloo is over, we need to get this Liberty thing sorted out. There are aspects of it which make sense in terms of our freedom for looking to the future. God Bless Matt. RIP - I hope he is looking down and laughing !!
