Have a house that sits on 5.5 acres of what used to be agricultural land up until 2012. Pasture. No businesses. As the third owner thought I'd improve the yard as not much had been done except right around the house. So this year hooked up the tiller and tilled about 3/5ths of it multiple times to make a better seed bed. Every time I did one section I'd hit something substantial but could never find it. Today while moving a sprinkler saw something metallic in the ground. Pulled it out and here was a fuel pump, the only identifier was the manufacturing tag. According to Grok "It's most likely a Carter (or ACDelco/GM OE equivalent) mechanical fuel pump from a 1960s–1970s Buick big-block V8, such as the 400/430/455 engines (e.g., in Buick GS 455 models from around 1970–1972). The tag/ID 41148 (with 4c2 probably a manufacturing/date/batch code) corresponds to an ACDelco part number for this style of pump. It cross-references to Carter M6744 (and similar numbers like M6802), with GM OE numbers in the 6441148 / 6471005 range." Weird. Pump is pretty whacked up by the tiller, tho the cam arm still moves freely. I also tilled up about 3 dozen golf balls and every time it rains a couple more show up.....
