LG has found away to fill your PC with adware and spam. How? LG sells monitors. The monitors aren't smart enough to load anything to a PC but LG weaponized the driver update process to get Microslop (Linux seems to be unaffected as does Apple) to dutifully download and install the "drivers" which are also loaded with shit ads from LG and others and also track users use thru sites visited and other invasive monitoring. As reported on Security Now episode 1089, 28 July 2026. I would treat all other LG products as suspect including the WiFi connectivity of washers, dryers, refrigerators or anything else produced by LG.
