Proverbs 14:2 tells us that our actions reveal what is in our hearts. The fear of the Lord is not just something we profess with our lips but shown in how we live. A heart that loves God desires to obey God, even when no one is looking. By contrast, a pattern of deceit, compromise, and crooked living shows contempt for His authority. None of us walk perfectly, but in Christ there is forgiveness for the repentant and grace to pursue a life of integrity. Ask yourself today: Does my life show that I am a person whose heart fears the Lord?
