Republican donors, who claim to be "conservative", think banning child pornography from school libraries is going too far. These donors are not "conservative" at all, they are liberals. How can anyone look at the repulsive filth the left tried to sneak into school curriculums to expose underage children to sexual perversion, and then say it's "a very big problem" for Governor DeSantis to ban it? Donors don't care about social liberalism, they just want low taxes. If he has a backbone, Governor DeSantis will tell these donors to get screwed and continue to implement conservative policies in Florida which are popular with Floridians. After all, he's term limited, which means he has nothing to lose. These pathetic coward donors who run for the hills as soon as somebody even remotely conservative comes along are the reason why the GOP keeps losing. There is a massive disconnect between what Republican voters want and what Republican donors want, which is the crux of the issue. And for the record, I don't support Governor DeSantis for President because he is an isolationist who supports Russia. But on domestic policy, he has been mostly excellent. People should also be reminded that three other Governors who passed six-week abortion bans were all comfortably re-elected: Brian Kemp, Kim Reynolds, and Mike DeWine.
