People who claim they can't cook are really saying they can't pay attention to the food long enough to turn it down/flip it/stir it before it burns. Don't tell me that you don't know what flavors go together; that's what recipes are for. No one is asking them to make flambé and London broil. Basic cooking skills are a measure of life competency and general GAF. It's time to mercilessly mock anyone who claims cooking is an unattainable skill.
