I'm really annoyed by taxes, shocker.  But if someone is willing to use their own money to "gamble" on a stock, taking all the risk, why the hell does the government think they have a right to tax you if you make gains on those stocks when you sell?  That just seems outrageous to me.  The gall of these people.  I bought Tesla in Jan.'25 and sold in Dec.'25 and made a good profit.  I have a big chunk I still haven't done anything with yet but I have to set it aside to pay taxes with it.  I can't see how the IRS thinks they have a right to a penny of it.
