The closer you try to get to God the harder the devil works to get in your way.  One way the devil derails you is to sow seeds of doubt in yourself.  You beat yourself up for sins you've committed, either yesterday or 20 years ago. Don't keep beating yourself up for things that God has already forgiven you for.  Your doubts and guilt are from the devil - don't give him that power.  God loves you, and you are SAVED for the decision you made to accept Jesus into your heart and into your life.  Tell the devil to get lost!
