Arissa update - we were told she would likely come home today, but unfortunately she will be moved to isolation and staying the weekend. Her temperature is elevated, just barely in the normal range and there is a small concern that the stress of her colic caused a dormant EHV or Salmonella infection to become active. More importantly, she's not eating as well as they would like and adding further stress to her by trailering her in this heat is not worth the potential downside, so she will likely be staying at the hospital until Tuesday.
