Ok, new poster to the forum here.  Here's the question, what is your go-to cure for the annoying "lifter tick" in a 6.0 Chevy engine?  It varies in intensity and duration depending on driving conditions.  At first it was starting off quiet and getting louder now it's doing the opposite.  I'm running 10W30 oil which is thicker than stock.  I'm slowly diluting it with MMO as I can.  Don't want to overfill it as that doesn't help either.  Heard a lot of discussion about use ATF to flush it.  Thoughts?  TIA
