Greetings, I am getting several different answers on a question about my 04 Silverado. Is there a fuel filter separate from the sock filter in the tank? The parts store says no the interwebs says yes along with a mechanic friend of mine. I recently had the fuel pump, along with the sock filter I would hope, replaced and it (the truck) quit on me again. We tested the fuel theory by pulling the snorkel off of the throttle body and spraying starter fluid in it. The truck started but almost immediately quit. Next steps ?
