We are finishing up another batch of syrup today. This is 11 gallons of sap reduced to about 2. We hot strain it and I squeezed the filter to get it all. It's hard on my hands but I don't want to waste any. We are finishing it up inside. There should be a little less than 3 pints. We use a hydrometer to get it right. If all goes well we will have about a gallon and a half so far.
