When we moved out onto our land 28 years ago, the landscape was essentially a grassy field with a few trees here and there. So we started planting -- evergreen, coniferous, and fruit trees, and grape vines. These latter were determined to fill up every available space we could give them, and now we are literally enjoying the fruit of those plantings. Time, patience, water, and pruning are all paying off, and it's quite glorious being surrounded by so much foliage and greenery. The privacy is nice, too. I call this painting, The Harvesters.
