I want to tell you about the night I found out I wasn't as ready as I thought. A tornado came through my town. Total devastation, no power, and my generator wouldn't start. The fuel line was torn and it was beyond my skill set to fix. Sitting in the dark that night, the only thing still working in my house was the toilet, and only because of gravity. Next morning I drove over 400 miles looking for a generator. Every store within a reasonable radius was cleared out. Finally found a Menards with a display model nobody had bought yet. Drove home on almost two days without sleep, and the power came back on partway through the drive. Got home to a flooded basement. I was a paratrooper flight medic in Desert Storm and a combat medic in Afghanistan. Two combat tours. Came home, became an ICU nurse, then a family nurse practitioner, and did a fellowship in alternative medicine at George Washington University. And I still got caught. The lesson wasn't buy a better generator. It was that gear you haven't tested is not a plan, and gear you can't repair is somebody else's problem waiting to become yours. That's why I built the Total Preparedness Program. Given what this group is about, the parts you'd care about most: Alternative Medicine for Preppers — my integrative approach, using both conventional prescribed treatments and alternative therapies. Ayurvedic, Chinese, and European naturopathic traditions, alongside what conventional medicine does well. I'm a nurse practitioner with a formal fellowship in this from George Washington University, so you're getting where each approach works, where it doesn't, dosing, contraindications, and the real limits. Not somebody's forum post. Trauma and wound care for when no ambulance is coming, and medical care for your whole family, including the children, because a child is not a small adult. Homesteading and survival gardening — soil, seed saving, season extension, food preservation and storage. Plus land navigation for when there's no GPS, comms for when the networks are down, grid-down survival, defensive operations, and city survival guides. Over 400 modules. $9.97 a month. No trial, no gimmick, no upsell. I'm a one man operation. No company behind me, no investors. Just a guy who put his savings and a few thousand hours into building something he thinks matters. If it's useful to you, it's there. If not, I'd appreciate you passing it to somebody who'd get something out of it. tpp.suburbanprepper.com Suburban Prepper
