Fritz Platten, the founder of the Swiss Communist Party who died forgotten in Stalin's jails

Co-founder of the Swiss Communist Party in 1921, he left for the USSR two years later. Arrested as part of the Stalinist purges in 1938, he was deported and shot in a labour camp in April 1942.
