#dailyinsights from my book #TheCodeJourney As we age, our experiences with things shift and change. For many, they believe that the world and life is just not as "exciting" or "magical" as it once was. While there is some truth from this, as our world is different than it was 30, 50, 75, or 100 years ago, the real core of these feelings run deeper. When we experience things early in life, we are experiencing them as a child or through innocent eyes. As we age and have to become more responsible for ourselves, we also tend to let go of that innocence, hope, faith, and ability to see how incredible the world is or a simple experience is. The world is just as incredible; except we are viewing it through a different lens than what we once did. Today calls us to return to that innocence, even if it is for a small part of our day. Part of a child's innocence comes because they are fully present in the moment. They let themselves experience something with every fiber of their being, and not just part of themselves. They connect with their surroundings and what is happening in it. If we did things from the same space that children do, we would still feel how special the world is. Another component that often influences things as we age, is the amount of sleep that we are getting. Children often get large amounts of sleep. The younger they are, the more sleep that they get. This keeps their brains and minds strong, active, and alert and basically keeps them recharged while they are developing. Most adults get maybe half of what they get and often carry the woes and worries of their day to bed and into their sleep state; which then reduces the amount of actual restoration that happens in that sleep state. Today, take time to view the world and your experiences through the eyes of a child. Fully immerse yourself into what you are experiencing and see the difference. You might find that the "magic" is still there. That Divine Spark may just need to be consciously ignited as an adult. #energy #mentor #scribe #presenter
