So everything that follows, the news articles, Trump Jrs and Rand Paul's tweets. . . it is all based on "officials with direct knowledge of the proceedings" but we have no quotes to confirm in what manner his name was raised. (Maybe someone at an impeachment deposition or open hearing just floated the possibility of it being him without confirming anything? Who knows!? I dont.) Since then these are the news organizations I was able to find that used his actual name before today.
