Something that pops up frequently is the idea that the Left -- both the real Left and the pseudos in the Democrats and the DSA -- are importing millions of Third Worlders because they can then bribe them with welfare and citizenship in order to get them to vote Left. If that really is the reason the Left are doing this, then they are dumber than i thought. Once up against the wall, the Republicans and their European counterparts will simply give the immigrants the same material benefits that the Left gives them PLUS the added incentive of social conservatism, thereby giving them more reasons to vote for the Right than for the Left. This seemed obvious even twenty years ago when W got a surprisingly high number of Latinos. The Third World is socially conservative, and once the Western social conservatives start giving them the same welfare payments the Left does, they WILL jump to the other side.
