The weirdest thing about the French is their nonchalant view towards nudity. In an Anglo-Saxon country, if someone walked through a public park while naked, they would be arrested and the public would condemn that person as a pervert and probable predator. Very few Anglo-Saxons can envisage a scenario in which a law abiding citizen could find themselves walking naked through their local park. But in the land of the French, this is not the case. In France that person would explain themselves to the police and the police would let them walk. In France, you can go to your doctor's office, sit down in the waiting room, pick a random magazine from the coffee table, open it up, and view an explicit full-frontal nude of a woman. You can drive your car to the shops and see a billboard with a full-frontal nude of a woman. Any children in your car will see it as well. Nobody in France finds these things unusual. I have always found the French extremely difficult to understand.
