North California water update: Lake Shasta and Oroville both ~15' from 100% full. New snow pack season started April 1st and is at normal levels. Which is to say almost no snow. This current storm looks to change that. A nice extra 30 days of runoff? Appears Central and Southern Sierra also get a "bonus" snow. Depending on the next storm Sacramento and Feather rivers may rise substantially to lower those lakes. Localized flooding is expected on the valley floor. Nothing major just the poor planning issue with runoff. A bit late in the season but not abnormal.
