This hunter had this retriever since a puppy. The dog started hunting with him at 3 months of age. Over the weekend, the dog's back legs gave out at 15 years of age; he also stopped drinking and eating. It was time. Yesterday, this guy took his dog out hunting for the last time. He carried the dog out to the duck the hunter brought down and let the old guy retrieve "his" duck one last time, before carrying him back to shore. Hardest thing to do is say goodbye to a best friend.
