After a longer unexpected break from me (sorry about that by the way! Still learning how to balance full time work and my free time!) the predictions tournament is back just in time for the greatest day in racing! I am of course talking about the Canadian Grand Prix (sprint weekend) and Indianapolis 500 weekend! All predictions are due the morning of the Sprint (Saturday). Full rules are below the predictions. Best of luck everyone! 1: Who will finish 11th in the sprint? 2: Will there be a red flag in grand prix qualifying? 3: Who will qualify on pole for the grand prix? 4: Will Mercedes make it 5 grand prix wins in a row? 5: How many DNF's will occur in the race? 6: HHP. Pick the driver that did poorly in the Miami Grand Prix that will do the best! Arvid Lindblad - Racing Bulls Fernando Alonso - Aston Martin Sergio Pérez - Cadillac Lance Stroll - Aston Martin Valtteri Bottas - Cadillac Rules for the 2026 Formula 1 fans on Gab predictions tournaments. 1: The predictions tournament will close at 12:00am EST the morning of FP3 and qualifying, by 12:00am (00:00) EST for sprint weekends (sprint qualifying not done in predictions), or 12:00am EST on Sunday morning when qualifying predictions are not included. 2: You are allowed to edit your predictions as much as you like until that deadline. 3: Predictions will never take DQ's or post qualifying/race penalties into account. 4: HHP (hoonsuit's heroic picks) hoonsuit, our moderator, picks drivers that did poorly in the previous race and it is up to you to figure out who will do the best! If you would like, a bonus point is available if you are able to call which position the driver you select will finish! 5: There will be a maximum of 6 predictions every weekend (including sprint weekends) 6: If a race weekend is cancelled for any reason the predictions tournament will not be scored and will also be cancelled. 7: The winner/winners of the predictions tournament will have their predictions pinned in the group until the next race. Unless it is the final race of the season. In which case, the predictions will be pinned for 1 month and no longer. 8: There is now a season long points format in the predictions tournament. You will now get a point for each prediction that you get correct. The champion will be the person that gets the most points in the entire season. 9: The top 3 points scorers of the 2026 Formula 1 fans on Gab predictions tournament will receive a prize. $75 USD merch haul from the F1 store/F1 team store/F1 driver store for first. $50 USD merch haul from the F1 store/F1 team store/F1 driver store for second. $35 USD merch haul from the F1 store/F1 team store/F1 driver store for third.
