> demand more, always important point: demand more, in cash (or contextual equivalent) the go-to trick, which works depressingly often, is to offer a theoretical future good in exchange for service now: better pension, stock options, "bonuses over time", whatever all of these things which don't exist right now (but theoretically could in the future!) are ridiculously easy for people with Team B powers to claw back later - raid the pension fund, change the tax law, whatever it takes to swindle you out of it - and they are desperately hoping that you will not notice that fact, so they can run their preferred game, which is to be generous with whatever it takes to solve their problems right now, then make it disappear later once they have attained a more stable equilibrium and can turn the "Kill Whitey" process back on therefore, whatever you demand must be immediately negotiable - "cash", or its equivalent - and must be delivered right the fuck now to your waiting hand before you do a lick of work: the usual calculus of "trust me, I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for shabbos goyin' today" must be completely inverted, all of the trust needs to flow towards you, that you will do what you said you would for the payment you received up-front (and maybe you will) "if you're not holding it, it's not yours"
