Clancy Trial Jury It's frightening that the Clancy jury is deadlocked and cannot reach a unanimous decision. The evidence I saw seemed pretty overwhelming though I missed some problematic testimony from a prosecution expert witness early in the case. I think I would have had no problem reaching a guilty verdict after a few hours of discussion. The judge will probably send them back for further discussion but if they aren't able to reach a verdict tomorrow I think we are looking at a hung jury and a mistrial. That means the state will have to start all over, hopefully with a better prosecutor.
