It's time that Americans understand Tariffs! Foreign-Trade Zones of the United States There is a creeping Globalist agenda set forth by the Globalist in America. Smoot–Hawley Tariff Act The Tariff Act of 1930 (codified at 19 U.S.C. ch. 4), commonly known as the Smoot–Hawley Tariff or Hawley–Smoot Tariff, was a law that implemented protectionist trade policies in the United States. Sponsored by Senator Reed Smoot and Representative Willis C. Hawley, it was signed by President Herbert Hoover on June 17, 1930. The act raised US tariffs on over 20,000 imported goods. Smoot was a Republican from Utah and chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. Willis C. Hawley, a Republican from Oregon, was chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means. The League of Nations' World Economic Conference met at Geneva in 1927, concluding in its final report: "the time has come to put an end to tariffs, and to move in the opposite direction." The League of Nations' became the United Nations. And here we are agreeing with Globalist. Foreign Trade Zones Act - ACT OF JUNE 18, 1934 – This act may be UN-Constitutional as NAFTA is. The U.S. foreign-trade zones program was created by the Foreign-Trade Zones Act of 1934. The Foreign-Trade Zones Act was one of two key pieces of legislation passed in 1934 in an attempt to mitigate some of the so called destructive effects of the Smoot-Hawley Tariffs, which had been imposed in 1930. The Foreign-Trade Zones Act was created to "expedite and encourage foreign commerce" in the United States. This is a globalist anti-American act that does not protect American jobs and industry from unfair world wide competition. There are over 230 foreign-trade zone projects and nearly 400 sub-zones in the United States. Globalist critics say that embracing economic self-sufficiency goes against the principles of globalization and free trade because globalist demand international free trade. This is absolutely true! Because Free trade is not fair trade. Free Trade is profit motivated Unrestricted Trade with World Wide Competition. International Corporations buy from low wage and low quality countries and sell high to Americas. Detractors accuse the America First Committee of isolationism and naiveté, arguing that a globalized world demanded active engagement and cooperation. Fair Trade is Restricted Trade. Only American Competition. This is protectionism. We must manufacture our own products and sell to our own people. Imports and exports are regulated. This benefits the American people and not the international corporations. This gives us a more self-reliant America. By advocating for a more balanced and fair-trade policy, the America First Committee aims to protect American jobs and industries. In order to achieve prosperity for all, it is essential to address the economic disparities that exist within our society. The globalist will cry out with one of their buzz words or code words to shame you into going along with their blood thirsty murdering Bolshevik Globalism.
