The porn bots stop right now. All new Gab accounts must now be manually approved by our team until further notice. We are working on a more permanent solution, but this will buy us some time. We know what to look for with the bots vs real users, so real people signing up will have to be patient and wait for account approval until we ship the other solution we are working on. This is the most sophisticated attack we have seen in five years and the timing of it is incredibly interesting given that Truth Social and Rumble both raised a boatload of cash this week from hedge funds to compete with Gab.
