We're being attacked with a significant DDOS... causing some slowness and failures.

edit: This is by far the largest DDOS we've ever received, from more than a dozen countries and thousands of IPs. We've put some additional protections in place and continuing to work on it, it's still ongoing 7 hours later... but the stats on this post alone show we're doing pretty good ))

edit: After 8 hours, the attack seems to be over, but I'm going to leave our counter-measures up overnight, apologies to anyone who is denied access because of it (mostly overseas, some hosting/vpns)..
