Look I get the game and mean no disrespect, but I have never expected the "big influencers" to move to Gab and think they should stay and fight on X for as long as they can. They are of course always welcome and have a refuge when needed! Gab is community funded by our users. I didn't raise a few billion from Blackrock and the usual suspects like X (and now Rumble with the Tether deal) to be able to pay out creators. Get that bag while you can, by all means and keep fighting. I urge you not to allow these recent moves to chill your speech in fear of a ban. The truth, our people and place matter more than your X account does. We are shifting the Overton Window drastically in our direction and can't let up now. What I will say is that we clearly need our own platforms run by people who share our values unapologetically. A home base where we know for absolute certain that information will flow freely when it is needed most. That's what Gab was--and still is--to millions of people. It literally saved lives during Covid by spreading awareness about the clot shot when discourse about it was banned everywhere else. It was crucial in documenting election fraud during the 2020 election. For 8 years now it has allowed discourse about "taboo" topics like the Great Replacement that are now in the mainstream discourse. If you're a smaller account you will find Gab to be a wholesome level playing field where you have both freedom of speech and freedom of reach. It's a great community of our people and there's a big benefit to having less noise and more signal, which will amplify your voice instead of drowning it out in a sea of bot and foreign accounts that exist on X. It's a more cozy environment and we have thousands of groups with varying interests outside of politics too.
