Feast: 23 September Saints Who Wrote Spiritual Classics 📝 Also known as Eunan, Adomnán was born in [Ireland] at the beginning of the 7th Century. He was educated by the monks of the abbey on the island of Iona ⛪ 👨‍🏫 , established by the Irish ☘️ monk Saint Columba. Adomnán eventually became a monk himself and in 679 was chosen as abbot of the Iona monastery.
