THE NATURE OF THE 😈MODERN😈 HUMAN BEING, @a This summer, a group of German tourists, middle-aged men on motorcycles all of them, started camping about 100 meters from the house I rent here in Jämtland, Sweden. I decided to show them some pictures: Serena Williams, Monica Seles and Steffi Graf when those tennis champions were children. And I asked the German men exactly the same question I asked a female police officer half a year earlier: "Is this a girl or a boy?" "Boy," the men said about Seles and Serena. When I showed them this picture, conversation went something like this: - Ah! Steffi! I recognize her. - Her? - Of course. - Do you see a girl or a boy? - Are you crazy? That's Steffi Graf! - I know. Do you see a girl or a boy? Then the Germans just started to ignore me. "Okay. Thanks for talking," I said.
