Good morning. The small stand serving nothing but Pronto Pups has been on the harbor in downtown Grand Haven, Michigan since 1947. It’s a seasonal business only open during the summer months and on peak beach-going days, the line can end up pretty far down the sidewalk. We went last week to get our pronto pup fix for the summer. Similar to a corn dog a pronto pup is a hot dog on a stick dipped in batter and then deep fried. I like mine plain, but ketchup or mustard can be added. First time I have ever seen it with no line. Which only lasted a few minutes.
