I'm gonna have to, do something about the, Canary's clutch pedal (again). Put a new bushing on the end of the push rod, and it's slipping off already. There must be another, underlying problem. The little bit of slop in the pedal itself, for example. The bushing is, not a knuckle or a ball joint, so any movement in the pedal, puts stress on the bushing. I could put a cotter pin in there, but to fix it properly, I'd need something like a heim joint. I read about a guy doing that. He lopped the end of the push rod off, cut threads on it, threaded a heim joint on there, and locked it on to the pedal stud with, a hog ring. It'd take a bit of measuring and cutting, but that's really the only way to, properly account for the pedal slop. The pedal itself has, already been engineered in such a fashion because, the bushings for the pedal are, no longer available. I had to run a bolt through the top of it, and file down some brake pedal bushings to fit. I'm sure they've already worn out too.
