BREAKING: California Exodus: Public Storage is putting the Godlen State in the rearview mirror. After more than 50 years in California, the S&P 500 company has officially moved its corporate headquarters from Glendale, CA to Frisco, TX. The self-storage giant's new headquarters occupies roughly 119-thousand square feet in Frisco and is expected to bring about 300 jobs to the Texas city — along with a multi-million-dollar investment. Public Storage says North Texas offers a deep talent pool, innovation and room for growth. Frisco officials call the move the largest out-of-state headquarters relocation in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by square footage since 2021. And this isn't a company simply considering Texas. SEC filings now list Frisco as its principal executive office for $PSA and the company says employees have already moved into the new headquarters.
