Kinda think this is bullcrap. My Aunt was a Fort Worth K-2 teacher for decades, and one thing she noticed early was that the Mexican kids didn't get sick as often or as long as the white kids. Their Mamas all attributed that to feeding hot (spicy) food at the first sign of sickness. Recent research also indicates that capsacin (the heat chemical in most kinds of peppers), among other phytochemicals often found in hot foods, really does affect the functioning of many systems in the body. So does the MSM strike out again? Sick with a cold? Doctors warn that favorite comfort foods could make you feel worse https://dissenter.com/feed/6467d4bf96cf264b15dd79d7/item/693b2b457ea23b41e813bf07
