After relection on the lives of the martyred saints, I must revise my list and chronological order of the persecutors of the Church. Herr is my revised list: 1. Jews 2. Pagans 3. Schismatics (use to be Muslims in this position, but it is clear Arius and his followers were just as guilty of persecuting the faithful, 300 years before the false prophet, Muhammad) 4. Muslims 5. Atheists (I use to call them utopians, but the universal trait of these utopians is the denial of God, which makes them atheists) If you read of the martyrs those who persecuted them were a member of one of these groups.
