In case you missed it from a couple months ago. Microsoft Research released a new memory allocator https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/research/uploads/prod/2019/06/mimalloc-tr-v1.pdf >In our benchmarks, mimalloc always outperforms all other leading allocators (jemalloc, tcmalloc, Hoard, etc), and usually uses less memory (up to 25% more in the worst case).
