Yeah, that's definitely part of it. Sailer is the original "HBD" guy -- Human Biodiversity -- a school of thought which got its start "noticing" racial and intraracial IQ differences. Tame, by today's Noticing standards, but he was avant-garde for a while. Naturally, and predictably, HBD attracted the high IQ of every race to its intellectual sphere -- the brown and yellow nerds who wanted to slake their suppressed feelings of superiority over their backward co-racialists and over Whites. Sailer could never take an explicitly pro-White racialist stance with his audience because he had boxed himself into an intellectual corner by elevating IQ as a discriminating feature above all else. For example, how could he possibly argue for keeping smart subcon jeets out of the US? Razib Khan would be scandalized. By ceding all that moral ground from the get-go, Sailer had no choice but to push his retarded "citizenism" ideology, which ironically was forejudged and discredited by his own work noticing racial differences. Citizenism, or civic nationalism, is the ideology of ignoring entrenched multiracialism to unify the nation under the concept of meritocracy and propositional deracination. Laughable, because Sailer knows damned well that nonwhites and jews are far more nepotistic and ethnocentric than are Whites, and that Sailer's "colorblindness" ideal has no chance of succeeding. Yet, he would prefer that predictable failure to Whites gaining racial awareness. Hm. Interesting. Almost.....jewy. PS Sailer is also getting much of his income from a jew who owns Passage Press, and Sailer himself has hinted that he discovered a schlomo in his woodpile. Explains a lot about his "reasonable niceguy" mendacity.
