This is the logic that trips up white knightoids. If women are slave to their whims and at the mercy of external influences, having no moral agency or self-direction whatsoever, then effectively women are children. Wards of the state, or of their husbands. And if that is how our institutions will treat women, then their rights must be limited in scope similar to how we limit the rights of children. No vote, to start. Women will gladly take zero accountability but with all the privileges of responsibility, if men give it to them. That's a feelgood but logically incoherent emotional reaction to the demands of a rights-centered society that has forgotten the other half of the equation: duties and accountability. We can have politically disempowered women, or we can have accountability for women to the same degree we have it for men. But we cannot have both without society falling apart from all the internal contradictions. The choice must be made. Patriarchy, or gynarcho-tyranny.
